HSBC, donates 4 oxygen Concentrators to Sevalaya’s Kasuva Medical Center
There second Corona wave saw a large number of patients being treated in government hospitals in Tamil Nadu. However many patients lost their lives due to oxygen shortage. Sevalaya has stepped in to provide lot assistance to many such hospitals and primary health centres in various districts
On 16th July 2021, Dinesh Prabhakaran, Associate Vice President, Administration & Facilities from HSBC , presented 4 oxygen concentrators with a 10-litre capacity to the Kasuva Medical Centre in Sevalaya, it wasrReceived by M Prakash, Mnager, Corporate Relations and contributed to Prakash M Senior Manager, Donor Relations, Sevalaya.
The team of doctors and nurses at Sevalaya’s medical centre located in Kasuva provide medical care to underprivileged people living in 40 villages around Kasuva. These oxygen concentrators will be of great help for the villagers.
As the second wave of the corona is making a devastating impact in India, with the financial assistance from the corporate/ associations/ and individual donors, Sevalaya is actively engaged in relief work for those affected by the corona infection.
