Hon’ble Governor of Tamilnadu distributed educational kits at Raj Bhavan

We are pleased to report that H.E. Governor of Tamilnadu, Shri  Banwarilal Purohith distributed  educational kits to the School children from various N.G.O.s

 In a colorful function with High Tea held at Raj Bhawan, Hon’ble Governor of Tamilnadu distributed various educational kits to 2575 students from 17 N.G.O.s – for a total value of 43.5 lacs.  Of this Sevalaya’s 200 children benefited with the following essential items:

1. Water Purifier                                      2  (Boys and girls hostels – each one)
2. Ceiling Fan for classrooms.              25  (for Boys and girls hostels)
3. Educational kits                                  200
4. School bags                                          200

 Speaking at the High-Tea function the Hon’ble Governor said that “Serving the people is serving God Himself” Therefore your services are great”. He also appreciated Mr. Rajagopal, I.A.S.  ADP for his efforts, along with Raj Bhawan Staff members,  in making the event a grand success.
