Grand Inauguration of State-of-the-art Science Centre in Sevalaya Campus

We are pleased to announce the grand inauguration of Dr.A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Science Centre at its campus.  Inaugurating the state-of-the-art Science Centre  Mr. Krishnan,  Director, TaeguTec India) advised the children that  they should be familiar with the nomenclature in English also (along with in Tamil).  This is an essential requirement for them while pursuing higher studies”

 

Sevalaya has been providing quality education to the poor and destitute children drawn from the rural areas. With this view only,  Sevalaya has Montessori model, a first of its kind.  Besides academics, Sevalaya empowers its children with skills in Computer education, practical training through its Physics, Chemistry and Computer Laboratories. In the array of these valuable education  imparted, Sevalaya has started its state-of-the-art Science Centre in its campus to benefit its children, which will be a lasting gain in acquiring knowledge in their educational career. It is a matter of delight that 2100 children will directly benefit from this centre. True to the words of our Poet Bharathi, in which he exclaims saying  “”We will measure even the sky, see lunar”  (வானை அளப்போம், … சந்திரமண்டலம் கண்டு தெளிவோம்),  Sevalaya has determined to develop our children by providing opportunities.  Their financial status, however in its low ebb, need not be a barrier in the development of their knowledge.

 

Inaugurating the state-of-the-art Science Centre  Mr. L Krishnan, Managing   Director, TaeguTec India) advised the children that  they should be familiar with the nomenclature in English also (along with in Tamil).  This is an essential requirement for them while pursuing higher studies”Mr. L. Krishnan, in his special address said just as God is understood by people, emerging Science and its innovations are also to be understood. In the fast developing world, the children and the next generation-to-be should prosper by developing their knowledge.  Keeping this in view only this centre has been opened” he concluded.

 

Mr. Topaz, Regional Manager, AIF Chennai, in his brief speech, stressed the need to develop the knowledge and its augmentation over academics.

 

Mr. Senthil, Child Protection Officer, Tiruvallore District, Government of Tamilnadu participated and graced the event.

 

Earlier, Mr. V. Muralidharan, Founder and Managing Trustee, Sevalaya, welcomed the Chief Guest and other dignitaries and  said that other Schools, (private and Government) should also make use of the Science Centre and benefit.   In the end Mr. Amarchand Jain, Advisor, Sevalaya, proposed vote of thanks.
