Dear Readers,
You may be aware that Sevalaya’s full fledged medical centre is functioning in its campus to give medical attention not only its residents, (Old age home elders and hostel students and others), but also people from 40 plus villages around. As its valuable extension, physiotherapy unit is functioning actively for the benefit of all.
As its improved initiative, Sevalaya has constructed a building exclusively for Physiotherapy, to house essential modalities of physiotherapy. Needless to say that it is a Science based therapy, simple and effective solution, sans drugs and even surgery in many cases. Further, the therapy helps reduction and removing pains. Therefore, it is a proven science, that it helps all patients, particularly elders. Further it helps strengthening the human body system.
We are pleased to inform that, on 16th March 2018 our Physiotherapy Unit is fully equipped and is state-of-the-art. It has all the important facilities. To name a few: Tread-mill, Stimulator, Traction unit, Wax therappy, Hydro col. Therapy, IFT, among others.
Sevalaya’s Corporate donor, M/s. BNY Mellon has contributed to this, which we thankfully acknowledge. Participating in the Physiotherapy Building inauguration function, Ms. Leandra Mendonsa, Regional Head, Diversity, Inclusion and Community Affairs, Vice President, BNY Mellon, recalled her long association with Sevalaya and pleased to have contributed for Mobile Medical Unit to serve 40 plus villages.
