16-MARCH-2018: Participating in the Physiotherapy Building inauguration function, Ms. Leandra Mendonsa, Regional Head, Diversity, Inclusion and Community Affairs, Vice President, BNY Mellon, recalled her long association with Sevalaya and pleased to have contributed for Mobile Medical Unit to serve 40 plus villages around and also Nursing Assistant Course in Sevalaya’s Mahakavi Bharathiyar Community College. As a result, 14 students got certificates and appointment orders for succesful completion of Nursing Assistant Course and having been placed in a job immediately, which is a matter of great delight, she said.
Ms. Akshatha Raghavendra and Mr. Viswanathan Gopalan of BNY Mellon also participated and graced the event.
Earlier, Mr. V. Muralidharan, Founder and Managing Trustee, Sevalaya, gave a detailed account of this initiative in his welcome address. Mr. Amarchand Jain, Advisor, Sevalaya, proposed vote of thanks followed by National anthem sung in chorus.
