19 students of Sevalaya Nxplores club from Std II, VIII and IX performed Drama, Villupattu (folks songs), and gave a speech about water conservation to the villagers of Pandikavanur. Most of them are daily wage labourers working in local farms, lakes and ponds. Their work is to deepen the water resources-lakes and ponds and desilting. Since the monsoon will arrive by October, Sevalaya took the initiative to create an awareness amongst the villagers. The performances highlighted the importance of water conservation, as well as food and energy. Nearly one hundred villagers attended the events.
