An organisation, by name, Vidivelli Thirunangaigal Nalavazhvu Sangam (Dawn of hope of Transgenders’ Welfare Association), Periakuppam, Thiruvallur, had expressed their desire to celebrate Transgender Day with elders of Sevalaya. Sevalaya gladly consented to their request and invited to partake Lunch with Senior Citizens of Old age home. Yesterday, a group of 12 persons, led by Ms Shanthi, Treasurer and T Viji, Secretary of the organisation visited Sevalaya’s campus in Kasuva village, Thiruvallur district, to serve and participate in Lunch with elders of Old age home. They cut cake, distributed and ate to the delight of all.
Greatly impressed by the services of Sevalaya, particularly to the poor and needy, the organisers expressed their extreme happiness in their participation and said that they intend associating with Sevalaya and also visit as frequently as possible.
