Sevalaya USA Foundation sponsored a project to donate oxygen concentrators to Government hospitals in Tamil Nadu in dire need of oxygen for treatment of Covid 19 patients.
The second wave of COVID has affected many people and there is a severe shortage of oxygen in hospitals, to treat the patients.
As a measure to minimize further amplification of this vulnerability, With the aid of several donors, Sevalaya has been working on rapid relief activities such as the distribution of masks, gloves, oxygen concentrators, sanitizers, to Government Hospitals, Public Health Centres in Tamilnadu.
On 9th July 2021 two Oxygen Concentrators of 5ltr capacity were handed over by V Muralidaran, Founder, Sevalaya, to Dr R Jeslin, Ortho, Dr Agathiyan, Residential Medical Officer of the Tenkasi Government Hospital.
The Doctors were very grateful for the timely help from Sevalaya.
