Kite festival was celebrated with excitement. The children learnt important lessons in teaming up to craft the kites in exact dimensions. They were initially shown a video about kite making and they jotted down the dimensions.They made kites in different shapes – fishes, butterflies apart from the regular square. Some were fitted with long tails. The entire area was awash with multi coloured kite. Many of them sported the Indian Tricolour. About 150 kites were crafted, with everyone pitching in to help. Each student got a chance to feel the flight of the kite, and the smiles on their faces, was a joy to behold.
