Sevalaya’s G Kavitha (U-19) and R Archana (U-14) declared individual champions in athletics event
Trail blazers G Kavitha and R Archana, won the individual championship, under their respective categories, in the recently concluded Thiruvallur district athletics competition at Thiruvallur SDAT stadium. While G Kavitha won the Gold medal in 200m, Long jump, Triple jump, and 400m hurdles, R Archana won the gold in 200m, and long jump and silver medal in 80m hurdles. The girl’s team also won the overall championship in the tournament. The chief guest D Narasimhan, DIPE Thiruvallur district gave away the prizes to the winners.
In all, Sevalaya won 12 Gold medals, 6 Silver medals and 1 bronze medal. The tireless efforts of our Sports director A Sankarapandian and PT master M Nithyanandham are yielding rich dividends every sports event that Sevalaya competes in.
