Independence day at Sevalaya this year was an all Alumni affair!! The Chief Guest this year, G Raghavendran was also an Alumni.
G Raghavendran Vice-President, Standard Chartered-Global Business Services, Chennai was one of the earliest residents of Sevalaya. While reminiscing about his student days he said the strong foundation laid by Sevalaya was instrumental in his personal and professional growth. He also threw open the Blood donation camp held in conjunction with the Lions Club of Munthamizh, Chennai. This year saw a quantum leap in the blood donations with 98 pints of blood collected, an all time high.
The Alumni met and discussed volunteering opportunities at their alma mater and have drawn up plans for the rest year.
