On 13th August 2017, 83 girls and 86 boys along with 5 staff from the school went on a one day trip in the newly opened Metro train route, from Nehru Park to the airport. It was a novel experience for all the children, being their first visit to a Metro station as well as the airport. The trip was sponsored by Food Bank, Chennai. The students watched a 3D show and went for boating inside the park. Food Bank team treated the children with breakfast, lunch and snacks. They also gifted umbrellas to the children.
