A new toilet block at Govt. Higher Secondary School at Kariyapattinam Village in Vedaranyam Block in Nagapattinam District was inaugurated on 6th January 2020. The toilet block was inaugurated by K Natarajan, President, Parents Teachers Association of the school. The old toilet block in the school was completely destroyed by Gaja cyclone.
Sevalaya, as a part of the rehabilitation works took upthe construction of a new toilet block at the school. The project at a cost of Rs 10 lacs was sponsored by Financial Software and Systems (FSS) Private Limited. 500+ girls of the school will be benefitted by the initiative. K Chandra, Headmistress, teachers of the school and members of the Parent Teachers Association participated in the function.
