In it’s next major initiative, Sevalaya has opened a free evening tuition centre at Eragaram village, on the outskirts of Kumbakonam. 30 students of Stds VIII to X are attending the free evening classes held at the centre.
The tuition centre was inaugurated on 9th June 2019, by G Anbazhagan, Member of Legislative Assembly representing Kumbakonam
In his special address G Anbazhagan assured support for all initiatives of Sevalaya for the welfare of the village. He also offered to depute doctors and arrange fro donation of medicines to the proposed free health centre to be run by Sevalaya in the village. While appreciating Sevalaya for its services , he appealed to the students and villagers to make best use of the opportunities provided to them and lend their support for all activities of Sevalaya in the village.
The project is sponsored by A Narayanan, a long time donor and well wisher of Sevalaya and whose native village is Eragaram.
