As part of ongoing outreach activities of Sevalaya, dry ration kits were distributed to the needy and underprivileged persons in Sriperumbadur block of Kanchipuram district. The ration kits sponsored by PPG Asian Paints were distributed by Sevalaya team and its volunteers to 250 beneficiaries in Kannanthangal village, 206 beneficiaries at Echoor Village, 260 persons in Punthur village, 113 families at Papankudi and 156 beneficiaries from Thirumangalam village on 16th March 2022.
17 student volunteers from Hindu College, Pattibiram Chennai and staff from various locations of Sevalaya together distributed 1000 kits to needy in Sandha Vellore, Madhuramangalam, Kannur and Kaduvancherry villages of Kanchipuram district on 17 March 2022. The villagers expressed their heartfelt gratitude on receiving the dry ration kits.
