Yesterday’s (on 12th December 2016) Vardah cyclone has felled all the trees in the campus, blown off solar panels, brought down our electrical systems and felled the our cell phone tower. It has also uprooted our compound wall and our CCTV/Intercom lines. Based on initial estimates, the loss is about Rs. 8 Lacs (Eight lakhs).
Mercifully, all the residents of our hostel, old age home and Gaushala were protected and are safe.
We request all our supporters to pitch in and help us in this hour of need.
