The Madras Dyslexia Association conducted a 7-day Dyslexia Training workshop on Saturdays, starting from the end of September 2023 and ending on 11th November 2023.
38 primary and 15 higher secondary teachers from Sevalaya’s Mahakavi Bharathiyar Higher Secondary School at the Kasuva centre attended the workshop.
The workshop covered various topics including, reading, writing, spelling, arithmetic concepts, and multiple intelligence, with a focus on assessments and teaching methodologies for students with severe learning disabilities.
Certificates were awarded to all participants by Mrs. Latha Vasanthakumar, Head of the Madras of Dyslexia Association.
