Sevalaya achieves – A record of 100% placement in its Community college.
In Feb 2014, Sevalaya opened a community college, sponsored by Scope International, in Kasuva campus, to give skill training to school drop out youth. Five streams of Vocational training are given in Carpentry, Beautician, Electrician, Garment making, A/c Refrigeration. This initiative is aimed at creating job opportunities and making the youth lucratively employable. About 50 students passed out in the first batch and all of them are employed currently.
On 1st April 2015, about 60 students successfully completed in the second batch and they were given certificates by Ms. Yeswanth Nagalakshmi & G. Vinod kumar, Scope International. The second batch of 60 students have also been placed in organisations like Haworth India, Technocraft Engineering and Naturals.
