Sevalaya’s organic farm at Madurantakam produced a ‘Mega yellow pumpkin’ weighing 16.5 Kgs. The entire process from planting the seed to harvesting took about 40 days. The sample seeds were purchsed from the horticulture showroom. Only organic manure and vermicompost was used during the entire harvesting process. The seeds have been collected from this pumpkin and they will be used for planting more such succulent pumpkins.
