The Department of School Education organized a Thiruvallur Revenue District Level Basketball Match titled “Bharathiyar Day Games” and “Republic Day Games” on 17th October 2023. The competitions took place at Don Bosco School, Redhills. 36 students from Std VI to XII participated.
12 boys under-14 category and 12 boys under-19 category won first place in the competitions. Under-14 category winners will be playing state level match at Pudukkottai in November 2023 and Under-19 at Coimbatore in February 2024.
532 students from various schools in Thiruvallur District, participated in the competitions.
