On 12th August 2015, Sevalaya conducts Eye camps with the support of SCOPE International, a well known, Sankara Nethralaya Eye Hospital for Pakkam villagers. A total of 80 persons were screened (36 male and 44 female). In the camp it was detected that 14 persons need to undergo for Cataract surgery. Fundus examination was referred for 21 and 16 people were advised and prescribed for spectacles.
