To coincide the World Environment Day, many initiatives were taken to educate all, particularly the students, to create effective awareness on the environment. M/s Renault Nissan Co., an automobile major In the country, has taken several initiatives, like planting of tree saplings, and, distribution of LED bulbs for energy saving. In his speech, Mr. D. Ponnusamy, M/s Renault Nissan Co appreciated the green initiatives of Sevalaya, which grows more than 300 trees in its campus, Solid waste Management, and, Rain Water harvesting. He donated 350 LED Bulbs, for use in the entire Sevalaya campus, in place CFL bulbs.
