Curiosity was the buzzword for the children who attended the Science day at Sevalaya on 28th February 2017. There were games like “Dancing grapes”, “The healthy components”, “Quick thinking” which was as interesting as the name suggests. Besides this the exhibition also kindled a curiosity about the scientific principles behind them. It was followed by a quiz competition, which had an interesting component “Connections” where students were shown pictures which when put together spelled a scientific word. All in all children had an interesting time learning useful scientific facts and principles in a happy, relaxed way.
The chief guest Dr P Meera (Subject matter Expert, Chemical Division Scope E knowledge Centre) distributed prizes to the winners of the various competitions related to Science conducted earlier.
S Saravanan, Founder of Visai, an organisation to spread awareness about environment among school children also participated.
