Sevalaya and BNY Mellon organised a free general medical camp on 3rd July, 2016, to increase medical awareness and to provide medical help to the inhabitants of Meiyur Irulargal Colony at Rajapalayam street village. The new mobile medical unit, with doctors and nurses in attendance, equipped with all important equipment goes deep into the community and conducts general health check-ups. It has made a difference in their lives and is welcomed with enthusiasm and hope. Fifty-seven rural folks, which include 12 males and 45 females, benefitted from this checkup.
