The city of Chennai celebrated its 375th birthday a few weeks ago, and as part of the celebrations, Big FM, honoured select Chennaiites who are achievers in diverse fields with the Big Chennaiite Award.
The awardees were selected on the basis of voting by the listeners of BIG FM. Chennai’s noted historian S Muthaiah presented the Big Chennaiite Award for Social Initiative to Sevalaya’s founder and Managing Trustee V Muralidharan.
