On 20th June 2017, Mangala Chandramouli, a Home maker from Ambattur who is good in crafts visited Sevalaya campus to give training on arts and craft making. 18 girls from std VIII participated in the training. Mangala taught the girls to make earrings and bangles using silk thread. The students eagerly learnt the trade and were seen trying innovative designs during the session. The girls expressed their eagerness to continue making these crafts and also teach this art to other students.
