5 Oxygen concentrators of 10 ltrs capacity were handed over to Stanley Government Hospital by BNY Mellon and Sevalaya on 26th May 2021 BNY Mellon sponsored the Oxygen Concentrators and Sevalaya coordinated the procurement, transportation and distribution.
The Oxygen concentrators were handed over by L Ashok Kumar, Associate Vice President, Operations, Sevalaya to Dr A Jamila MD, Vice Principal, Government Stanley Medical College.
India is reeling under the effect of the second wave of COVID 19. Tamil Nadu tops the list in terms of the number of people getting infected per day. It is a heart-wrenching sight to see the long line of patients outside the hospitals, in ambulances, struggling for breath, and waiting for beds. There is a scarcity of beds, oxygen, medicines, medical equipment, and the situation is grim.
