Nine months after 20 families lost their belongings and their home in the Chennai floods, newly constructed concrete homes, funded by PwC India and executed by Sevalaya, will be handed over to the beneficiaries on 16th September 2016. Each of these homes will be fitted with a toilet, in keeping with the Prime Minister’s Swacch Bharat campaign. All the 20 families belong to the underprivileged sections of the society. The project was started in April and was completed before its stipulated end time. The beneficiaries have expressed their sincere thanks to PwC India and Sevalaya, for their timely action.
