Unveiling Bharathi’s Life: Celebrating Heritage at Kilkadayam Railway Station🥳
The inauguration of the paintings of Bharathi’s Life at Kadayam on the walls of the Kilkadayam Railway station was held on 10th December 2023.
Sevalaya initiated the project by painting Kilkadayam Railway station with notable incidents from Bharathi’s life during his 2-year stay at Kadayam.
Dr Thiruppur Krishnan, Editor, Amudasurabhi, Robert, Station Master, Kilkadayam Railway Station, Kalyani Sivagaminathan, Retd. Head Master, Kadayam, Sudalai, Retd. District Educational Officer and Kavignar P Rajendran, Podhigai Tamizh Sangam and artist Mari Anand participated in the function.
Sevalaya’s Murali, Founder and Managing Trustee, announced that,” Kalanilayam” will be established at Kadayam in which free dance, music and yoga classes will be offered.
Purushothaman, Dance Teacher at Sevalaya’s Bharathi Cultural Centre, Kadayam, presented a dance programme with his students.
