Rural Medical Services, through organised camps, are one of the main activities in Sevalaya to help rural poor and needy. Although we have been extending this for a long time in the villages, in the recent months, we have intensified this, due to the persistent appeals by the rural poor, who are in dire need of medical attention.
Below table, which you will find self-explanatory, on the details of rural people’s availing our facility, number of people benefited with male-female break-up, cases, etc.,
In all 2755 patients benefited in one month, in 80 villages. We wish to state that the patients were attended by Sevalaya’s qualified and experienced Medical Practitioners, prescribed required medicines. Our Nursing assistants distributed medicines to the patients, as per prescription.
Most importantly we could carry out these camps with help from our Corporate donors, viz. BNY Mellon and Cholamandalam Investment & Finance Company Ltd.,
We are pleased to state that all the above were availed totally free of cost.
Our Medical Team headed by our qualified Doctors, attended several cases. There are instances, some people/patients suffering from various illness for a long time, approached our medical teams, availed treatments and got cured. In fact they came and expressed their gratitude, which is a matter of great delight.
