S Sathish, General Manager, Vishay Precision Group of Companies (VPG) inaugurated a free mobile medical services program by Sevalaya, by flagging off the Mobile medical van, funded by VPG, on 17th May 2021.
Free medical camps will be conducted for people in and around 20 villages in Oragadam, Kancheepuram District, thrice a week.
Senior officials from VPG and Sevalaya participated in the event.
Under the current crisis siuation, where the COVID pandemic is causing havoc in Tamilnadu, Sevalaya will be operating this mobile medical van funded by VPG and a mobile medical van funded by Renault Nissan Automotive India Pvt Ltd (RNAIPL) for transporting the COVID patients to Kanchipuram GH and to transport the cured patients from the hospital to their homes. The 2 ambulances will be attached to Kanchipuram GH. The Corporates VPG and RNAIPL also support the operational expenses for the ambulances and Sevalaya is the implementing partner of this initiative.
