Singapore Universities Mission Oxygen (SUMO) through MILAAP has donated Oxygen concentrators which were distributed by Sevalaya to Government hospitals in Tamil Nadu which are in dire need of oxygen for treating Covid 19 patients.
India is reeling under the effect of the second wave of the COVID-19 pandemic. Sevalaya is taking the initiative to fight against Covid-19. Relief activities such as the distribution of masks, gloves, oxygen concentrators, sanitizers etc are being carried out by Sevalaya.
I John Louis IAS, District Collector, Chengalpattu received Oxygen Concentrators from L Ashok Kumar, AVP Operations, Sevalaya, and S Babu, Project Co-Ordinator, Sevalaya today at Chengalpattu District Collector office.
Expressing his happiness, the Collector requested Sevalaya to hand it over to the Government Hospital of Thoracic Medicine, Tambaram Sanatorium for immediate use. There it was received by Dr R Sridhar, Superintendent.
