Sevalaya has been providing free breakfast for the 900 students of Stds X, XI and XII appearing for Board exams of Government Girls’ Higher secondary School, Palace Complex, Thanjavur and Corporation Higher Secondary School, Keezh Alangam, Thanjavur for the past three years during the months January to March. Special classes will be held for the students appearing for Board exams early in the morning during these three months.
This year the free breakfast programme was inaugurated on 3rd January 2019 at Government Girls’ Higher Secondary School, Thanjavur by Thavaththiru Thiruvadikkudil Swamigal of Jothimalai Iraippani Thirukkoottam, Kumbakonam, P Shantha, Chief Educational Officer, Thanjavur and A S Sunder Raj, Senior Divisional Manager, LIC of India, Thanjavur.
