The Second Phase of COVID-19 Vaccination was started on 1st March 2021. Senior citizens and people above 60 years with comorbidities are covered in this phase.
According to Dr Jawaharlal, Deputy Director Health and Thiruvallur District as per District Collector’s orders COVID -19 vaccination camp was held on 3rd March 2021 at Sevalaya’s Kasuva centre.
70 Grandparents from Sevalaya’s free old age home were administered COVID – 19 vaccine today by a team of doctors and nurses from Government hospital, Thiruvallur.
Blood pressure and blood sugar levels were tested for the seniors before vaccination.
Dr Uvaraj, Regional Medical Officer, Dr Kumar, Regional Health Superintendent , and Dr Ganasekar , Medical Inspector were present at the campaign.
