Asian Paints donated flood relief kits for affected families, in villages near Oragadam, through Sevalaya, on 13th January, 2016. 70 families were the beneficiaries of these relief materials. Representatives of Asian paints and Sevalaya were at hand to distribute the relief materials.
Relief materials included aluminum cooking vessels, 25 kg rice, rava, wheat flour, 2kg oils, groceries including dhal, toiletries(buckets, mug), sleeping mats, four blankets, clothes for the entire family consisting of dhotis, shirts, sarees, and children’s wear, worth ₹ 10,000 per family were distributed.
