Sevalaya celebrates Vivekanda Day

Sevalaya celebrated Vivekananda Day, on the occasion of his birth anniversary, on 12th January 2015, at 11.00 AM in its campus at Kasuva. The celebration was marked with various events, viz. cultural on Swamy Vivekananda, songs and dance by children, etc., The highlight of the programme was distribution of prizes to the toppers of Open Book Examinations held earlier.

Sevalaya has been of the firm view that all youth, particularly students, imbibe and imbue the great thoughts of Swamy Vivekananda, which are relevant even to-day and in fact forever. In view of this Sevalaya had conducted Open Book Exam for the students not only of Sevalaya but also several other Schools also.

Another important and notable aspect of the event was that Sevalaya invited and involved the prisoners also to participate in this Open Book competition.
