AGS Health partnering with Sevalaya inaugurates 3 RO water plants at Zamin Endathur villages on 14th March 2024

As part of its CSR activities, AGS Health had sponsored the construction of 3 RO water plants at Ozhavetti, Maruvalam and Zamin Endathur villages, Maduranthakam Block, Chengalpattu district. Sevalaya was the implementation partner.

The 3 RO plants of 500 litres per hour capacity each were inaugurated on 14th March 2024 by S Sakthi Prasanna, AGM, CSR & D&I, AGS Health and Paul Anbuchezhian, Team Member, CSR & D&I, AGS Health.

Built at a cost of Rs. 14.62 lakhs, the project is expected to benefit around 6000 villagers residing in the 3 villages.

Welcoming the gathering, Sevalaya Murali, Founder and Managing Trustee, explained how the free medical camps conducted by Sevalaya in the villages identified water-borne diseases prevalent there. This issue triggered the initiation of the RO water plant project.
