Sevalaya NGO Celebrates Deepavali with Chief Guest Stephanie Reithofer, Global HR Business Partner at ANDRITZ, a Multinational Company

Sevalaya’s Kasuva Centre, located near Thiruninravur in the Thiruvallur district, celebrated
Deepavali on 24th October 2024.
Stephanie Reithofer, Global HR at BP-Pulp & Power, Andritz Technologies, Austria, was the
Chief Guest on the occasion.
In her speech, Stephanie Reithofer said, “It is a great pleasure to visit Sevalaya for the first time.
The greatest gift of Deepavali is education, rather than material gifts. It is essential to utilize
education to unlock your full potential”. She also wished the children and senior citizens a very
happy Deepavali.
Sevalaya Murali, Founder and Managing Trustee expressed his gratitude to the thousands of
donors who helped the Sevalaya family of underprivileged children and senior citizens celebrate
a joyful Deepavali with sweets, crackers, and gifts.
Earlier, students presented colorful cultural performances. Children and seniors were also given
Deepavali gifts, sweets, and crackers by the Chief Guest during the event.
Sevalaya Murali welcomed the gathering, and Prasanna Parthasarathy, VP of Donor Relations,
delivered the vote of thanks. A A Kingston, Vice President, Operations presented mementos to
the special guests.
Sevalaya is a registered charitable trust headquartered in Chennai, operating since 1988. More
than 2,200 underprivileged children are provided education at their campus located near
Thiruninravur. Spread across 30 centres in South India, Sevalaya also provides skill development
courses for youth, runs children and old age homes, hospitals, healthcare and rural
development projects, gaushalas and organic farms, with all its services provided free of cost.
