PPG Asian Paints donates Oxygen Concentrators

PPG Asian paints Pvt Ltd has donated ₹35 lacs to Sevalaya for Covid relief work as a part of its CSR initiative. Through this donation, Sevalaya has purchased 38 oxygen concentrators and is making arrangements to distribute them to government hospitals in Tamil Nadu and Puducherry.

Many people are suffering in Tamil Nadu due to the lack of oxygen concentrators as a result of the second wave of Corona sweeping across the country.

With the aid of several donors, Sevalaya has been working on rapid relief operations and has so far donated 23 oxygen concentrators to a Tamil Nadu Government Hospital with inadequate medical facilities,

As a part of it, on 9th July 2021 10 Oxygen Concentrators with 5ltr capacity were handed over by Leo Christoper, Plant Head, PPG Asian Paints, Thirubhuvanai to Dr C Udayashankar, Director Indira Gandhi Medical College and Research Institute, Puducherry.

Arunachalam, Senior Manager, PPG Asian Paints, Joshwa, Deputy Manager, PPG Asian Paints, Rajesh, Deputy Manager, PPG Asian Paints, Rajkamal, Senior Manager Executive, PPG Asian Paints, Nandakumar, Executive Puducherry, PPG Asian Paints, Prasanna Parthasarathy, VP Donor Relationship, Sevalaya, and John, Center head, Sevalaya, Thirubhuvanai were part of the initiatives.

The Doctors were very grateful for the timely help from PPG Asian paints and Sevalaya, as oxygen concentration was a great comfort in such a difficult situation.
