KONE Centennial Foundation, Finland & KONE Elevator India Private Limited sponsored sanitation kits for the frontline workers, villagers, and also press reporters, who are on the field, exposed to risk in this pandemic.
Each kit consists of 10 face masks, 1 face shield, 2 sanitizers, 1 handwash.
Sevalaya is the implementation partner for this Covid 19 relief initiative, coordinating the procurement and distribution of kits.
On 4th June 2021, M Govinda Rao, IAS, District Collector, Thanjavur, distributed the kit to the press reporters in Thanjavur. Rajeswari, District Social Welfare Officer, Thanjavur, and R Divahar, Centre In Charge of Sevalaya Thanjavur, participated in the event.
