Ankitara Foundation, USA has donated towards the purchase of oxygen concentrators and cylinders to Sevalaya.
On June 17, 2021, 6 Oxygen Concentrators were handed over to Dr R Jesvin, Superintendent, and Dr S Agathiyan, Physician, Government General Hospital, Tenkasi, by Sankili Boothathan, Project Coordinator, Ravanasamudram, Tenkasi District, Sevalaya.
6 oxygen cylinders are used for the oxygen on wheels programme in Sevalaya ambulances.
India is reeling under the effect of the second wave of the Covid-19 pandemic, and there is a huge demand for oxygen in all hospitals.
Sevalaya has been engaged in relief activities with support from philanthropic individuals, associations, and corporates.
