The inauguration of Sevalaya’s newly constructed ‘Educational Master’ R S Nallaperumal Memorial Centre in Ravanasamudram, Tenkasi district, took place on June 27, 2026. Arvind Guruprasad, Senior Executive (Risk and Compliance)- BNY, graced the event as the chief guest and inaugurated the centre.
In his address, Arvind highlighted BNY’s long-standing support for Sevalaya’s social welfare initiatives. He remarked, “A building is not merely a structure of stone and earth; while funds can erect a building, I view this Nallaperumal Memorial Centre as a driving force for the social progress of this region. The success of this centre lies in the success of the students here honing their talents and achieving great heights in life.”
He further added, “Students should not only study well but also cultivate a keen desire to learn about everything. As our late former President Dr A P J Abdul Kalam said, students must dream big – dreams that do not let them sleep – and work hard to turn them into reality.” Speaking on the occasion, Ganesan, a relative of Nallaperumal, expressed gratitude on behalf of the family to Sevalaya for establishing the 'Nallaperumal Memorial Centre' in Ravanasamudram, Nallaperumal’s birthplace, thereby ensuring his legacy endures forever.
Ameer Khan (a friend of Nallaperumal and a former Councillor) and Neelakandan (a prominent figure from Ravanasamudram) also spoke on the occasion, paying tribute to Nallaperumal’s memory. They also extended their best wishes to Sevalaya, which had earned the trust of Nallaperumal.

The construction of the centre, costing ₹1.63 crore, was funded by BNY.
