On 22 January 2016, Apollo hospitals ltd a leading corporate hospitals in south and pharmacy-chain having a large number of outlets, serving the community in the health care sector, visited Sevalaya. Impressed by the service activities of Sevalaya in the field of education and most importantly in caring senior citizens in its old age home, Apollo group donated medicines to Sevalaya’s old age home. They have given medicines, to start with, for all the 70 senior citizens of Sevalaya’s old age home for a month’s requirements (consumption). The medicines donated include vitamins, diabetics, hypertension, anthrax etc., Ms. Jayanthi Swaminathan, Senior General Manager, Apollo Hospital Education and Research Foundation, Ms. Mythili Sriram, Co-ordinator CSR projects, Mr. C.Sreedhar, CEO, Apollo Pharmacy and Mr. V.Ravichandran, Senior General Manager, Apollo Pharmacy visited the campus and distributed. Mr. V.Muralidharan, Founder and Managing Trustee and L.N.Anupriya, Unit head of Sevalaya received medicines from the officials.
