Page Pierre Foundation, Switzerland sponsored sanitation kits for 2500 underprivileged families residing in 42 villages in the neighbourhood of Kasuva Village, Thiruvallur District where Sevalaya centre is located.
Each kit at a value of ₹550, consists of 10 masks, 6 sanitizers, 1 handwash, becozinc tablet 30 nos.
On June 19, 2021, K Bhaskaran, Deputy Superintendent of Police, HeadQuarters, Thiruvallur District, S Aparna, Sub Inspector Of Police, Vengal, and, M Mani, President, Sivanvoyal Panchayat distributed the sanitation kits to the underprivileged families.
The Chief Guest in his speech appreciated Sevalaya for the rescue, relief and, rehabilitation services during times of natural calamities and pandemic. He said that he has sent children in conflict with law to Sevalaya, and they are reformed.
Gifts were distributed to staff who celebrated their birthdays in June and also to the staff who gave the best Kaizen.
Earlier V Muralidharan, Founder & Managing Trustee, Sevalaya welcomed the gathering. A A Kingston, VP Operations, Sevalaya, proposed a vote of thanks.
