PPG Asian paints Pvt Ltd has donated ₹35 lacs to Sevalaya for Covid relief work as a part of its CSR initiative. Sevalaya will be utilising this amount to procure and distribute Oxygen Concentrators to Government Hospitals in Chennai and Kancheepuram Districts.
India is reeling under the effect of the second wave of the COVID 19 pandemic, and there is a huge demand for oxygen in all hospitals.
In the first phase, 5 oxygen cylinders were handed over to Maheshwari Ravikumar, IAS District Collector, Kancheepuram by Parthasarathy P, Plant Manager, PPG Asian Paints. Suresh C, Operations Manager, and Anantha Raj R, Engineering Manager, PPG Asian Paints, and A A Kingston, VP Operations, Sevalaya were present on the occasion.
This oxygen concentrators will be put to use immediately at Government General Hospital at Kancheepuram.
