An initiative by Hyundai Wia, Sevalaya’s Corporate Supporter
We are pleased to report, that as part of Sevalaya’s Village Development initiative, a public library with E service centre has been inaugurated at Natahamedu Village, Tiruvallore district.
The Library building has been funded by Sevalaya’s Corporate donor M/s. Hyundai Wia. The Company has donated a sum of Rs.11 lacs for the construction of the building. Besides, they have donated Valuable books worth Rs.25,000/- The library building has E Service centre for the use of general public for all their e service requirements. All these are given totally free of costs to the public.
Inaugurating this valuable service, Mr. Woo Wan Jeon, Managing Director, Hyundai Wia, asked the villagers to make use of the Library and E service facilities and develop themselves in education and general knowledge matters. This will greatly help them in their career, he concluded.
The highlight of the inaugural function was participation of V.A.O. Mr.Pugazhenthi said that the people, particularly the youth should spend their time at the library in a useful manner, by reading books to develop themselves.
A village committee has been formed to administer the Library-cum-E service initiatives. It is proposed to conduct competitions on Library. Further every month reading habits will be improved for youth through Readers forum.
