5 nursing assistant students of Sevalaya’s Community College went for internship at New Life Teja Hospital at Ambattur. They were provided opportunity to work in the various areas of the hospital such as all the wards and operation theatre. The ward visits with the senior nurses was a valuable learning experience for them on how to check the patient history and more importantly how to deal with the patients. They learnt about Venflon procedures, administering drips, dressing up injuries and general patient care. The Nursing Assistant course at Sevalaya’s community college is sponsored by BNY Mellon.
