In an attempt at providing skill training to the underprivileged youth and school dropouts, Sevalaya opened its Community College at Sunguvarchathiram on 26th September, 2018.
It is Sevalaya’s 6th Community College and the aim is to train young people for a period of 4 months and make them employable in the competitive job market.
Inaugural function was chaired by three people – P. Parthasarathy, Plant Manager, K S Samuel, Head of Technology and AR Ariraj, HR Manager of PPG Asian Paints, sponsors of the Community College.
Samuel, in his brief speech appreciated Sevalaya’s consistent efforts to provide skill training to Tamil Nadu’s youth population. Ariraj advised the students to make use of the opportunities provided by Sevalaya, get trained, employed and improve their quality of living.
