In the recently concluded VKP sports festival, held at Velammal Sports focus school, Ponneri. Twenty five schools participated in the event and more than 2000 children participated in Sports and track and field events.
Students from Sevalaya were declared winners in Handball and Volleyball. In Basketball Sevalaya qualified for the semifinals.
In track and field events, 20 schools and 600 children participated. Sevalaya’s G Kavitha of Std XII won the 100 m and and came second in 200 m. D Keerthana came second in 100 m and third in 200 m and long jump. R Swetha secured 2nd in Shot-put, R Punitha came third in 400 m and the Sevalaya girls came third in 4×100 Relay.
