Sevalaya Murali was honoured with the Jeppiar Icon award 2017. He was awarded the Distinguished Philanthropist award for his services in the field of education and rural development. During his address, Sevalaya Murali spoke about Jeppiar’s rural beginning and attributed his success as the reward for his hard work. He also mentioned that Sevalaya imparts education to the rural underprivileged students, who can become successful in life, when they put in the effort. Dr M Regeena Jeppiar, MD, Jeppiar Engineering College commended the role played by Sevalaya in the society and promised to extend all possible help to serve the underprivileged.
